Australian economic indicators on the Internet is maintained by the Department of the Parliamentary Library. This site is a good introduction to finding some of the key economic statistics published by the main statistical agencies.

Australian government statistics; economics, finance and tax.

Bureau of Transport and Regional Economics (BTRE) statistics on the aviation, road and rail, and shipping industries.

The Reserve Bank of Australia's Statistics. The data includes currency exchange rates, index of commodity prices, international banking statistics, balance of payments and others.

Australian bank publications

ANZ (Australia & New Zealand Banking Group) full text articles of the ANZ's job advertisement surveys, daily and weekly economic/financial analysis and other publications are found on this link, "Economic Commentary".

National Australia Bank, (NAB) provides regular updates and survey articles of the Australian economic and business environment in its "News & Information section".

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is the central bank. There are extensive full text publications, statistics and information links relating to the economy such as speeches by the governor and senior officers.

FRASER (The Federal Reserve Archival System for Economic Research) provides historical data on the US economy.

International Economics Trends is a monthly publication published by the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis (US). It consists of economic data for the G7 countries and the euro.

International trade statistics, published by the World Trade Organisation. Latest available data and archives.

National statistical agencies of countries of the world, maintained by the US Census Bureau, the site links to the organisations responsible for data collection and dissemination, arranged alphabetically by country.

National statistics, the official UK site which provides the latest available data on the UK

OFFSTATS, this site is maintained by the University of Auckland Library in New Zealand. Links are provided for statistical data on the social sciences and economics by governments, international organisations, etc. There is a specific section for New Zealand statistical data.

UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) : provides industrial statistics of countries of the world. Currency of data provided varies between countries. The site also provides other economic information.
